The Prescott Blues Appreciation Society. PBAS is a federally designated 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and was created to fill a local need for Blues lovers in the quad cities and surrounding areas.
Our mission is to promote, educate, teach and advance Blues Music through networking with fans, musicians, entertainment venues, promoters, music and civic organizations, other music professionals and the community at large.

The ultimate goal of any independent blues society is to develop a vibrant blues community at the local level and as part of our mission, the goal of the Prescott Blues Appreciation Society is the preservation, education, performance and outreach to music industry professionals, recording studios, club owners, musicians, venues and lovers of blues in the Prescott and surrounding areas.
At PBAS we consider ourselves non-competitive to other blues/music organizations or industry professionals so our goal is to not allow any type of hate speech, racism, politics, religion, or bad mouthing within our organization or social media pages.
In addition to special events, educational programs, promoting the Blues and plain having fun, the organization will be creating programs and opportunities to sponsor and showcase up and coming youth and adult talent and through our programs and events will help encourage and promote Blues related events and organizations in the world.
